L'Arche Toronto

Homes and Programs

The L’Arche Toronto Community is located in the Danforth/East York and Regent Park Neighbourhoods of Toronto with five homes where core members (people with disabilities at the heart of our community) share life with the assistants who support them, and a wide circle of family, friends, and neighbours.

The Gathering Place in Pape Village is a place of welcome, support, and celebration. Our innovative fee-for-service programs, Sol Express creative and performing arts and TIFS advanced life skills programs, respond to the needs and dreams of adults with disabilities.

L’Arche employs a unique relational model where we help each other develop and contribute our gifts and abilities through relationships of mutual care, supporting each other to achieve our goals for a meaningful life.

L'Arche Toronto

The vision of L'Arche is to create a world where everyone belongs.

L’Arche Toronto receives base funding for our homes and day supports from the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS). Residential supports (homes) are accessed through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO). You can find out more through this link.

Sol Express and TIFS are fee for service programs not funded by MCCSS. Adults with developmental disabilities can apply for Passport funding to cover these fees through the DSO. Sol Express and TIFS are accessed through My Community Hub.
